Working Towards a Shared Vision

Contracting work may include roofing, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems, which are completed ahead of any volunteer event or staff activity. RTP enlists contractors through competitive bidding and pricing, ensuring that cost efficiencies are built into every scope of work.

RTP is committed to engaging with minority and women-owned businesses (MWBE) and community-based contractors to fulfill licensed professional construction services for all its projects. RTP’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is devoted to the safeguarding of these contractual relationships, codifying the dedicated use of MWBE and community-based contractors into RTP’s organizational procedures. This mandate ensures that RTP is directly supporting the local economy, in addition to its safe and healthy housing and stabilization efforts.
