DeWyne first applied in 2012 with the desire to make a home safe for his 12-year-old daughter. At the time, a relatively new first-time homeowner, his desire was to make an investment that he could one day pass on to his daughter. We served him on a small scale in 2013, then came back with funds to do more extensive work in 2017. DeWyne had water entering his home every time it rained heavily. RTP’s work included building a retaining wall that made the home and whole property more secure. “I could never have done that wall. These improvements will keep us here that much longer.” Since constructing the wall, no water has come into his home!
