Since 1993, we’ve been dedicated to preserving affordable homeownership and revitalizing communities across Allegheny County.</p>
<p data-path-to-node="4">To help continue this mission, we are currently seeking a full-time <b data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="68">Emergency Repair Program Administrator</b> to manage critical, time-sensitive interventions for our neighbors.</p>
<p data-path-to-node="5"><b data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="0">About the Role: </b>When a winter storm hits and a furnace fails, it becomes an immediate health and safety crisis. As the Emergency Repair Program Administrator, you will be on the front lines of solving these crises. You will primarily manage the day-to-day operations of the <b data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="273">Columbia Gas Emergency Repair Program</b>, coordinating directly with clients and approved contractors to deliver emergency utility-related repairs to eligible homeowners. You will also support other vital utility contracts, including the Duquesne Light Quality Assurance Program.</p>
<p data-path-to-node="6"><b data-path-to-node="6" data-index-in-node="0">Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul data-path-to-node="7">
<li>
<p data-path-to-node="7,0,0">Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors throughout the emergency repair process.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p data-path-to-node="7,1,0">Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot emergency repairs and provide interim solutions (like temporary heating) when temperatures drop.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p data-path-to-node="7,2,0">Review contractor bids, approve scopes of work, and manage project budgets.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p data-path-to-node="7,3,0">Maintain accurate project records and prepare performance reports for utility partners.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p data-path-to-node="7,4,0">Participate in a shared rotation for after-hours coverage during our high-demand season (mid-September through early April).</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p data-path-to-node="8"><b data-path-to-node="8" data-index-in-node="0">What We’re Looking For:</b> We are looking for someone who is resourceful, empathetic, and capable of remaining calm and solutions-oriented during urgent situations. A strong background in program management, budget monitoring, and vendor relations is highly valued, and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or residential weatherization systems is a great bonus!</p>

<p data-path-to-node="10,0,0"><b data-path-to-node="10,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Location:</b> Hybrid. Staff are expected to work from RTP’s Homewood office at least two days per week, with remote flexibility for the remaining days.</p>

<p data-path-to-node="10,1,0"><b data-path-to-node="10,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Benefits:</b> This is a full-time, non-exempt position that includes partially paid healthcare, a 401K with match, and a generous paid time off package.</p>
